Ocean Kiss

I dance with the ocean

The sky and the beach watch

her waves pull me in by the hand

The Earth is jealous of my love for her,

The sky patiently waits for a turn.

I dance with the ocean

Her music roars, filling my ears

My heart tires in a breathless chest

But I don’t want to stop dancing,

So I let her lead.

I dance in the ocean

And effortlessly float

She lifts me, and holds me

I vow myself to her waters forever.

But she betrays me,

And hands me over to the sky.
